A Busy Day for Spice Cake

As mentioned yesterday, Spice Cake had a busy day planned for her. Dr. Jefferson, of Maine Equine Associates, came to do a chiropractic exam & chiropractic work, and acupuncture on Spice.Great news from Dr. J-He says that we are on the right track with Spice Cake's treatment, and time to heal is what she needs most right now.

Thank you to everyone who has shown such support for Spice Cake! She has been lucky to have so many friends from around the farm stopping in to check on her. 

She has even had many of her four legged farm friends sticking very close to her lately. Scarlet, the farm's Bernese Mountain dog, has been staying very close to Spice Cake these past few days-what a great friend! Spice Cake has been more herself lately too, and has been nickering to the other horses when they come into the barn.
